instxnt uses a minimal set of cookies to provide core functionality and a secure session experience. This page explains the cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Cookies we use
Session (essential)
We use a single session cookie named session to authenticate users and keep them signed in while they use the dashboard. This cookie is a secure JSON Web Token (JWT) issued by our API Worker and has the following properties (production defaults):
- Purpose: Authentication / session management.
- Duration: Session cookie (deleted when you close your browser) or short-lived token depending on configuration.
- Security: Set with HttpOnly and Secure flags and SameSite=Lax where supported to mitigate XSS/CSRF risks.
No tracking or marketing cookies by default
instxnt does not set analytics, advertising, or third‑party tracking cookies by default. If you (as a store owner) enable third‑party integrations (analytics, ad pixels, or embed scripts) those providers may set cookies according to their policies; those cookies are controlled by the integration you enable.
Consent and Control
Where required by law, we obtain consent before storing non-essential cookies on your device. You can manage or withdraw consent using your browser settings or cookie controls provided on the site. Disabling cookies may affect features and functionality.
Third-Party Cookies
We may use third-party services (analytics, advertising, performance) that set cookies on our site. These providers collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
How to Manage Cookies
You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time via your browser settings or the cookie controls provided on the site. To learn more about managing cookies, visit your browser's help pages.
